THE CS LAB#6 publication is online!

We are happy to communicate on the release of the CS LAB#6 publication! Designed around the topic of mental health and adaptability, this publication, entitled Caring in times of Crisis, goes deeper into the topics explored throughout the CS LAB seminar, which took place in Portugal from May 25-26th 2021 in partnership with Imaginarius – International Street Theatre Festival. What can you find in it?

It includes three main articles gathering inputs and perspectives from experts on the following issues:

• “How neuroscience can help deal with stress” by Vida Skreb,
•  “Have we burnt out culture?” by Miguel Bica,
• “From resistance to resilience: what about caring?” by Teresa Espassandim.

These reflection pieces are complemented by two interviews conducted with circus and street artists, who share their experiences and learnings with regards to how stress can impact their artistic practices, how they cope with it and how they navigated through the Covid-19 crisis. Last but not least, the publication includes a list of multimedia resources to go further on these issues, which resonate with all of us.
