Circostrada is partnering with La Fabrique Culturelle in the frame of the RICA#4!

La Fabrique Culturelle is currently preparing the fourth edition of the RICA! 

Scheduled from 22 to 28 March 2021, it can count on its partners Circostrada, the MICC (International market for contemporary circus, an initiative of La TOHU) and the CRITAC (Center for Circus Arts Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer) and on the financial support of the Government of Quebec and the Institut français. Several companies from the continent are invited for the occasion and La Fabrique Culturelle also accompanies and co-produces the creation of a brand new young team of artists from Abidjan spotted last year: "Ivoire Cirque Décalé".

• The professional meetings organised by La Fabrique Culturelle and its partners will be composed of different activities that explore and deepen reflections and key themes that seem most relevant in light of the current pandemic.

OPEN CALL: DO YOU WANT TO PRESENT YOUR PROJECT AT THE RICA?

• As part of the Professionals Programme of the RICA, the MICC and La Fabrique Culturelle invite African contemporary circus companies to submit their tour-ready productions for a series of virtual pitch sessions. These online events aim to increase the presence of African contemporary circus at international performing arts venues and festivals. An international jury will review all submissions and select twelve companies to pitch their touring projects to an international audience of presenters, agents, and producers.
