Zirkus ON Programme

Support programme for circus

Zirkus ON is a German support programme of the Federal Association of Contemporary Circus in Germany (Bundesverband Zeitgenössischer Zirkus e.V. / BUZZ).

A jury selects annually three Germany based projects and Zirkus ON accompanies them from kick-off presentation to performance/premiere. In cooperation with partner institutions, Zirkus ON is providing mentoring, residencies, workshops, production-supports and presentations. Main approach of Zirkus ON is an increase in quality of contemporary circus productions and a visible, early link to professional structures in Germany.

The label Zirkus ON raises the possibilities, the perspectives and the horizon of contemporary circus in Germany.

The call for Zirkus ON 2021/22 will be published in autumn/winter 2020
