SUGLA PLUS – Fusion of artistic education (in performative street arts) and urban space research (Ljubljana, Slovenia)

2025/08/14

The intergenerational programme ŠUGLA PLUS will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from autumn to spring in three series of weekly trainings and intensive weekend modules – in city streets, squares, parks, and in more specific urban spaces such as residential courtyards and other unconventional locations open to the public.
Participants will explore the potential of these spaces for artistic creation, thereby enhancing their performance skills and gaining experiences. They will develop additional artistic approaches, creative practices, and methods of communication and interaction with spectators.
Mentors are Slovene and internationally recognized artists and educators who have long-term experience working in public spaces or are specialized in stage arts.
The programme is intended for established street artists and creators from other performance art fields of diverse ages as well as (yet) unestablished artists with some public performance experience.
