Circus and Technology: DYNAMO Residency Open Call 2025

DYNAMO is receiving applications for an upcoming 4-weeks residency in Spring 2025 dedicated to contemporary circus artists

Professional contemporary circus artists and companies, based anywhere in the world, including Denmark are welcome to apply, latest 1st November. 

The theme for the residency is CIRCUS AND TECHNOLOGY. With this theme, we wish to explore various ways in which circus creation can be facilitated by the use and engagement with technologies, technological innovations or new approaches to disciplines or apparatuses, aided by technology. 

We are also interested in projects where technology is an object of artistic research, ie. circus practice that questions/challenges/reflects on the use of technology today, or offers speculative accounts for the future. 

The residency is open to artists working in any circus discipline.
