CIRK! is a 3-day curated outdoor urban summer festival for circus and street arts in the city centre of Aalst (right between Brussels and Ghent) in the last weekend of August. Most of our shows are free and we welcome more than 30.000 spectators each year. Apart from the festival, we support a local circus school ‘Studio CIRK!’ with weekly lessons for children, youngsters and adults. We founded the network Circ’UIT together with other Belgian workspaces and festivals to coproduce outdoor circus creations. Most of these creations can be seen during CIRK!.
