ARTEKALE was founded in 2004 to enhance, promote, and disseminate street arts in the Basque Country, as well as positioning the Basque Country internationally, bringing together the professionals from both the public and private sectors: 50 companies, 11 festivals, and 3 distributors, all with the aim of dignifying the street arts.

ARTEKALE a été créée en 2004 pour valoriser, promouvoir et diffuser les arts de la rue au Pays basque, ainsi que pour positionner le Pays basque à l'international, en réunissant les professionnels des secteurs public et privé : 50 compagnies, 11 festivals et 3 diffuseurs, dans le but de valoriser les arts de la rue.
