Association for Circus Pedagogy Cirkokrog

The Association for Circus Pedagogy Cirkokrog is a voluntary, nongovernmental, independent, non-profit organization that works in the field of youth work and informal education for children, youth and adults. The association connects different professionals and other individuals that use circus in order to stimulate creative expression, cooperation, education and empowerment of children, youth and other groups.

Since 2005 Cirkokrog has developed many programs in the field of circus pedagogy and social circus: regular workshops for youth and children; educational programs of circus pedagogy for students and youth workers; projects held in schools, asylum homes, student homes, youth centres, festivals, other non-profit organizations; youth camps; international youth exchanges and training courses, etc. The association is implanting and developing programs based on the inclusion of groups at risk, as well as on community work trough circus pedagogy. They aim at creating mixed communities and bridges to bring dialogue between different groups of backgrounds and cultures.
