HIGH FEST International Performing Arts Festival organized in the first decade of October in Yerevan, Armenia. It was established in 2003. Annually we have more than 35-40 companies form 25-30 countries; 400-500 participants and guests: festival directors, programmes, art critics etc. We use 12-14 venues (indoor and outdoor) and have 6-12 performances per day. We have an Armenian showcase, to show the palette of the contemporary performing arts in Armenia as well as a special Iranian Programme. HIGH FEST has the Main and the Fringe programmes. We have a strong educational programme annually at the HIGH FEST. Our festival is a member of IETM, ASSITEJ, ITI, IFEA. From 2006 HIGH FEST is the main festival in the territory of the ex-USSR countries (outside of Moscow). In 2019-2021 HIGH FEST is a EFFE (Europe for festivals - festivals for Europe) laureate, in the list of the best 24 festivals in Europe, by EFA European Festival Association. Besides the main festival we have a spin-off called HIGH STREET - International festival for street theatre and circus. We organize it outside of Armenia in many countries on an outsourcing basis.
