Agora is a non-profit association founded in 1987. Labeled Pôle National Cirque (PNC) in 2010, Agora is part of a network of 14 PNC in France.

The missions :

- Diffusion of around forty shows per year, with a multidisciplinary project (circus, theater, music, dance) in Boulazac, in the conurbation and in the department (Dordogne).

- Support for creation, accompaniment and hosting artistic residencies of around fifteen companies per year.

-  International cultural cooperation projects linked to Palestine (Birzeit, Ramallah, Palestinian Circus School) and Lebanon (Kahraba collective, Hammana Artist House).

- Cultural mediation and territorial actions linked to the public (school groups, associations, medico-social field, etc.).

- A low-carbon approach (implementation of targeted actions around the issues of energy sobriety, soft mobility, eco-responsibility of the public reception environment and local consumption).
