Subtopia is an arts cluster, a platform and a launching pad for dreams and ideas, chiefly in circus and film. Situated in the south of Stockholm we house arts organizations in 8 buildings and 15 000 sqm. Being a local, regional, national and international meeting place we build local and international networks, and gather competence representing a dynamic mix of artistic expression, education programmes, entrepreneurial spirit and social involvement. Subtopia supports creation, production, research and artistic development, offers residencies and workshops, and provides information and intelligence on circus. Subtopia also presents shows and festivals in Hangaren, a venue of 2100 sqm. Subcase is an annual circus showcase organized by Subtopia, presenting the latest Nordic work.
