Sideshow is a magazine and website that promotes, records and thinks about contemporary circus.
As an information point and an archive, Sideshow is a news provider with a complimentary focus on meta data and statistical research. As a cultural magazine, it is a curated space that gives a central role to the voice of the artist. As a networked organisation, it is a collaborator and initiator for media projects that contribute to the growth of circus art.
Over the next two years Sideshow will host a series of conversations with artists and thinkers around the themes of Presence, Society, Ageing & Death, and The Unknown.
Sideshow est un magazine et un site Internet qui traite du cirque contemporain, le soutient et réfléchit à son développement.
A la fois point d'information et archive, il couvre l’actualité artistique et s'intéresse particulièrement aux méta données et à la recherche statistique. Ce magazine culturel est un espace d’expression qui donne un rôle central à la voix des artistes. En tant qu'organisation en réseaux, Slideshow est un collaborateur et un initiateur de projets médias qui contribuent au développement des arts du cirque.
Au cours des deux prochaines années, Slideshow prévoit d’organiser une série de conversations avec des artistes et des penseurs sur les thèmes de la présence, la société, le vieillissement et la mort, et l’inconnu.
