Cirqueon – Centre for Contemporary Circus is the umbrella organisation for contemporary circus in the Czech Republic. Its primary activities aim at supporting and advancing contemporary circus in the Czech Republic and disseminating information about current events in this field. 

Since 2010 it has its own training centre and information centre with its own specialised library. In 2011, Cirqueon began to focus systematically on advancing social-circus projects and is currently coordinating the development of a Czech-Slovak platform – CIRKONET – for the development of social circus. 

Cirqueon is an educational, production, and organisational institution which brings to the Czech Republic essential information on new circus education, cultural policy, management, international creative projects, and more. 

Cirqueon is a member of the FEDEC, SIBMAS and is a partner of the European platform Circus Next (JTCE). Cirqueon also runs its own festival Cirkopolis Fest in Prague.

Cirqueon – Centre pour le Cirque Contemporain, est l’organisation cadre pour le cirque contemporain en République tchèque. Ses principales activités visent à soutenir et développer le cirque contemporain en République tchèque et à diffuser les informations clés pour ce secteur.

Depuis 2010, Cirqueon dispose de ses propres centres de formation et d’information, notamment via une bibliothèque spécialisée. Dès 2011, Cirqueon se spécialise et développe des projets de cirque social. Le centre coordonne aujourd'hui une plate-forme tchécoslovaque – CIRKONET – qui travaille au développement du cirque social.

Cirqueon est une structure éducative et de production, qui se fait le relai en République tchèque des informations clés en matière d'éducation dans le cirque, de politiques culturelles, de projets internationaux, et plus encore.

Cirqueon est membre de la FEDEC, de la SIBMAS, et partenaire de la plate-forme européenne CircusNext (JTCE). Cirqueon organise également son propre festival Cirkopolis Fest à Prague.
