SAWA#4 is the fourth edition of the international conference that started in 2011, dedicated to the fast developing field of ETSA - Education and Training in Street Arts. Professionals from the field meet, exchange information and knowledge and discuss the development of the relevant methods and approaches of practices and cooperation.

The fourth edition of the Street Arts Winter Academy was organised by Gledališče Ana Monro (SI), in partnership with Narodni Dom Cultural Centre (SI), the University of Winchester (UK), HorsLesMurs and Circostrada Network with support from ISAN (UK) and Društvo HIŠA (SI).

The seminar, held at Narodni Dom in Maribor, Slovenia between 6 and 8 March 2015, gathered European professionals, academics and students to decide upon a way forward for the Training in Street Arts (ETSA).

Goals of SAWA #4:

  • To exchange methods and approaches in education and training in Street Arts
  • To increase knowledge
  • To develop concrete cooperation between people and organizations exercising ETSA
