How do circus and street arts find new ways to engage with audiences? What relation do they have to the territories and their inhabitants?  How can audiences influence the creation process?

If you want to know more about the specifics of audiences in circus and street arts in Europe, check out the motion design from the CIRCOSTRADATA series, it will give you an overview of how these fields develop innovative approaches to reach out to an always broader audience and how they manage to get the audience to take a more active role in the design of artistic performances and projects.

This motion design is based on the data collected through the three-year pilot-programme CS Audience, introduced by Circostrada in 2014. Data were gathered in the form of a survey filled in by Circostrada members at the European level.
