Next Door Circus

The goal of this project is to create a digital platform linking artists in the Baltic countries. The digital platform would also allow students from Baltic states to publish their theses and research results in the field.

The website will consist of an interactive network, a database of artists, a digital library with researches, an informative blog as well as a regular online magazine about contemporary circus and street arts in Baltic states.

Objectives:

• Facilitate communication and artistic cooperation for local projects;
• Strengthening collaboration in the organization of festivals and touring international artists diminishing costs of shows and facilitating reception of more international artists;
• Expanding the audience for local artists;
• Initiation of public in contemporary circus;
• Establishment of an informative digital base, creating a starting point for the development of new circus in the region.
