KIT, Kobenhavns International Theater, together with Västra Götalandsregionen and in collaboration with Circostrada, will organise the second edition of the Nordic Urban Laboratory. This event will take place both in Borås and Gothenburg (Sweden), between April 6-8, 2016.

Gathering urbanists and city planners, artists, researchers and academics, students, community organizers, politicians and activists, the lab aims to look at alternative urban strategies and practice to give an overview of both current European and Nordic trends of "cultural planning". 

Three days to get an overview of cultural planning initiatives in Europe and Nordic countries. Get to know the methods, the processes and the tools needed to work with culture as an integral part of planning and development of neighborhoods, rural communities and cities.

Circostrada will join the Lab to produce an online publication that will gather the main proceedings and reflections of these 3 days. Capitalising on the expertise of its members, the network aims to bring cross-sectorial and "out of the box" views by editing key resource for professionals that shed light on innovative practices challenging our sectors.
